Little Kids

Here our 5 youngest children.....From Left to right
Trevor he's 14 years old and well he is a teenager. He lives with his mom and we only see him occasionally. He is having a hard time with the whole step family thing! I really wish it wasn't so hard for him, but realize he must deal with things in his own way and his own time.

Ian is 10 years old now. He loves the whole step family thing. He is at our house every other weekend, and enjoys playing tech decks with his step brother Dakota. They will sit in their room for hours and play! Ian is a very smart boy and very social, he gets a long with EVERYONE! From the day I met him we clicked!

Dakota is 13 years old and not in any hurry to be a teenager and we are ok with that! We love the innocence he possess. He loves his tech decks and Skateboarding. He is doing so well in school this year, we are so excited for that! He earned a new Skateboard this fall for bringing home a report card with no D's or F's, school has always been a struggle for him and now he is getting the kind of education he deserves to have.

Kaitlyn will be 8 on January 5th and is so excited for that. She has been asked to test for the gifted program at school. We will find out the results of the test in the Spring. I do know this, she is the top reader in her class and love school so very much.

Alex is 17 years old now, busy looking for a job! He is excelling in school and will graduate in spring/summer 2010. Seems like just yesterday he was starting kindergarten, my how time flies.

Michael and I have really tried to make this step family thing work for all involved, it hasn't been easy. However we know it will totally be worth it in the end, because we plan on spending the rest of our lives together.

Courtney

This is the middle daughter Courtney, her husband and their daughter Blair.
They welcomed Blair to their family on May 25, 2008, after 3 boys Courtney finally got that girl to complete their family. Russel and Rylee love their baby sister so much! Any they're great big brothers.
Courtney and Jason got married July 25th and are working together to make a happy family! I do believe that together they can do anything!!! :)

Tiffany

This is my oldest daughter Tiffany. She is oldest by 22 minutes, but that still makes her the oldest.

Tiffany, her on again off again (we never know what is going on with those two) boyfriend Josh, Quynn and Oliver.

Tiffany has been having a few health issues since August which has kept her in and out of the hospital for 4 months now. She has been diagnosed with Pulmonary embolism which are blood clots of the lungs. The doctor thinks the cause is childbirth, however the normal solutions are not working to keep them away. I pray for her everyday and hopes someone can help her.

Quynnie will be 4 years old in February, such a big girl she is becoming. She loves being a big sister and often tells Auntie Kaity that she cannot do something because she isn't a big sister...boy does that make Kaitlyn mad because she would love to have a younger brother or sister. I often have to tell her that Mommy is done having babies and it is sooo cool to be an Auntie. Quynn loves to draw, play barbies, listen to music like Taylor Swift and Hannah Montana or as she calls her Hannah On-tana! LOL! She also loves to "Make" with grandma Tami! We make cookies, cakes and so much more and she enjoys every minute of it. And I love it!

Oliver Vaughn Glen was born July 13, 2008 weighing 4 lbs 14 ounces. He sure was a tiny little thing. But such a joy. When he looks at me and smiles, my heart skips a beat and melts! I love this little guy!

Our Family

Well this is really our first blog and along with the first blog is the first family photo with all 7 children.
Unfortunately we could not get ALL of our grand babies in the photo's, but that does not mean we don't love them just the same.
We met a wonderful photographer who took all of our pictures and I am beaming proud how well they all turned out. The whole idea was to get our pictures taken so that we could send out Christmas Cards this year. And yes for the first time I think ever I sent out cards to our friends and family.
I wanted to include a letter telling how we were doing but I just didn't get it edited in time. So much has happened this year that I am afraid it would have turned into a book instead of a letter!
Michael and I celebrated our 1st year anniversary on March 19th of this year. And as I write this I think oh wow, our 2 year anniversary is just around the corner! I can say this about marriage... I love Michael with all my heart and being married to him is a dream come true. He truly is the love of my life and the way he loves me is incredible! We have a great relationship and a wonderful marriage. I am looking forward to many, MANY more anniversaries!
In November Michael and I got the opportunity to go to the beautiful island of Oahu! Spending time with the man I love in paradise was truly amazing! We definitely want to go back one day! It was our much delayed, much needed Honeymoon!
We have both been busy with work. Michael will celebrate his 5 year anniversary with Priority Dispatch in early 2009. He is doing what he loves to do, and that is technical support and he is so great at it, he received the Employee of the Quarter award this year. I am so proud of him.
I have been with Utah Interactive for 3 1/2 years now and still love the job I do! Even if they pile more work on me every week. I guess I must be doing something right. I feel that in today's market I am so lucky to even have a job! I won employee of the month in September and with that award came a gift card which we used to purchase our Family gift for Christmas... A Wii!
Oh how the kids will be surprised!
Well we're looking forward to the Holiday's and hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Holiday!
